Characterised by a large bearskin headdress, blue uniforms with white stripes and a red, pencil-shaped house as their shelter, the Royal Life Guards have been guarding the royal palace, Amalienborg, since 1658. Every day at noon, the changing of the guards is quite the attraction as they march through the city from Rosenborg to Amalienborg.
